2026 Isn't Done With You Yet.

Hey Reader,

If 2026 had a trailer, would you be excited to watch the next episode?

Perhaps it has been a year of unexpected turns. Some plans worked out beautifully; others didn’t survive February. You may have landed a new job, started a business, discovered a new passion, or found yourself back at the drawing board. Either way, one thing is certain: the year probably didn’t go exactly as you imagined.

And now, just like that, we’re approaching the final stretch. But before you start mentally packing 2026 away, consider this: what if the opportunity you’ve been waiting for is still around the corner?

A new job could come from an application you send this month. A business idea could find its first investor through a conversation you almost didn’t have. A fellowship could take you somewhere you never imagined. Your next big move might already be waiting for you to make the first move.

We often treat January like the official season for becoming a better version of ourselves. New goals, new plans, new energy. But there’s no rule that says you have to wait for a new year to make something happen.

In fact, the people who enter January with momentum are often those who started preparing before the countdown.

So, before you close the chapter on this year, update that portfolio. Explore that funding opportunity. Learn that skill. Send that pitch. Put yourself in rooms, conversations, and spaces that could introduce you to something bigger.

You don’t need a dramatic life transformation before December. You just need to give your ambitions a little more attention than your excuses.

After all, the year may be winding down, but your story isn’t. And who knows? Your favorite part of 2026 might still be unwritten.😉

Happy New Month!

Hey Reader, Growing up, October 1st always meant two things: A New Month and Independence Day. As a child, I did not really understand what Independence Day meant or why it mattered. I only knew what we were taught: Nigeria gained independence from Britain on October 1, 1960, and became an Independent nation. Every Nigerian child knew the story. There was also the Independence Day broadcast by the Head of the Nation. It was almost a ritual. We listened because that was simply what happened...
